Government Polytechnic College Pala (GPTCP) at Kottayam was formed to impart technical education to students. The college offers 3-year duration diploma courses in four streams namely Computer, Electronics, Instrumentation and, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Students often pursue B.Tech. or B.E. after completing a polytechnic course in order to pursue a career in Engineering. The college has an actively participating placements cell to invite various companies for the recruitment drive after completing diploma course. 

The Orientation program is an opportunity to introduce the new students to life at the Institute and facilitate a smooth transition to the new life. The sole purpose is to develop strong communication and presentation skills in the entrants. The Orientation Course is a must as this course helps groom an individual in terms of knowledge and skills.

The fact of the matter is that humans routinely do amazing things without appreciating how interesting they are. However, we are also routinely influenced by people and events without always being aware of those influences.. The workshop examined both personal characteristics and individual differences. We discussed principles of Adult learning and the application of behavioral psychology to everyday events and challenges. This program highlighted the most interesting experiments within the field of psychology, discussing the implications of those studies for our understanding of the human mind and human behavior.

Our objective was to provide systematic training in contemporary relational gestalt therapy theory and practice through experiential and didactic learning modules. Laughter Yoga Session @ Nirmala Medical Yoga Centre - (SEP 2022)








Nirmala Yoga Centre is indispensable part of the Nirmala Medical Centre, Muvattupuzha. Sr Infant Tresa FCC manage the Yoga Centre. This Laughter Yoga Session was a part of their Onam celebration prize distribution ceremony SEPT 2022.

L.Y. Sessions combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing techniques (Pranayama) which brings more oxygen to our body and brain making us feel more energetic and healthy. Ten to 15 minutes of LY exercises can reduce stress, make your immune system stronger and keep your mind positive during challenging times. Thanks to my Guru, Dr. Madan Kataria, the Indian physician who developed this exercise program where anyone can laugh without relying on humor, jokes or comedies.
